After a Law Degree at Durham University, Margaret studied for the Law Society finals at the College of Law at Guildford.
After qualifying as a solicitor with a firm in Bournemouth, Margaret moved to Thomas Eggar LLP, now Irwin Mitchell, where she is an Associate in the specialist Contentious Trust and Probate Team.
Margaret deals exclusively with contentious trust and probate and Court of Protection matters, including professional negligence claims relating to these areas of work, and Deprivation of Liberty (DOLS) and other related issues.
Margaret is a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
Outside of work Margaret is kept very busy as the mother of two young children and enjoys walking, swimming and genealogy.

In my role I look after the technical and training side of our practice in wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, Inheritance Tax and tax planning, tax and trust compliance, elderly clients and international tax. My role includes training myself, or arranging training for, our fee earners in the latest legal and tax developments and strategies for clients to make the most of a constantly changing tax environment. I have responsibility for precedents and documents to support our “know-how” and help produce client guides to introduce new services and strategies.

Dominic is the Managing Partner of Charles Hill Hubbard (email@example.com) having joined the firm in 1989 and became a Partner in 1991. Dominic specialises in property transactions and deals with matters ranging from a first time/investment purchases, right through to country houses, estates and farm land.
When not working, Dominic enjoys time out with his wife and two teenage daughters and when they have had enough of him(!), he spends time doing various sporting activities and socialising.

Sarah is a committee member of the Chichester and District Law Society and senior partner at SMR Solicitors and is based in their Chichester office. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and specialises in both residential and commercial property. With two young children, Sarah doesn’t have as much time as she’d like for activities outside of work, but does try to go swimming and to the gym as often as possible. She is also an active member of her local school’s parent-teacher association.

Caroline has a wealth of experience and local knowledge, having spent many years as a Partner in a West Sussex law firm.

Aimee joined the firm in January 2012 as a paralegal before being offered a training contract to qualify as a solicitor. She completed her training to qualify as a solicitor in July 2015 and now specialises in real estate and business services.

She practised as a specialist family lawyer in Hampshire for the last 10 years, spending the majority of her career at a leading regional law firm, before joining Edward Cooke Family Law in January 2019.
